Song of the Week for September 10 - 16, 2017

The Song of the Week for 9/10-17,2017 is by West of Here from Edmonton, Canada. Here is a quote from their website https://www.westofhereband.com.
"West of Here" was created in April of 2014, as a christian/alternative rock band made up of three brothers Taylor (Left), Matt (Middle), Tristan (Right) from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Taylor sings lead vocals while Matt and Tristan both play guitar and sing backup vocals.
Since 2014 the group has been recording their debut album "The Journey" and playing for small events/venues in their local area. They have released singles to Canadian radio and recieved airplay all across the country.
In 2015 the group was nominated for two GMA Covenant Awards, "Rock Song of the Year" for their Single "Run", and "New Artist of the Year". The band of brothers was very pleased to leave the event with the Award for "Rock Song of the Year" this past November.
The recording process went on for much longer than the guys would have liked, but during the lengthy process more songs were added, making "The Journey" a much stronger debut album. They plan to begin touring in the nearby provinces throughout the spring/summer with a cross Canada tour scheduled by the fall.""
Be sure to fall in love, with this amazing gift, West of Here!
